Carriers are parts that hold workpieces in place during grinding, lapping or double-sided polishing.

SOMTEC-CH provides a complete range of carriers, available in different materials. Our technical team designs the tooling directly from the workpiece drawing, to guarantee the best results.

Made from high-quality materials

The choice of material depends mainly on the required thickness of the workpiece.

We offer 3 basic materials as standard. Steel for the thinnest parts (0.1 to 0.5 mm), epoxy for parts of intermediate thickness (0.3 to 3 mm) and PVC for the tallest parts.
